　　英语四级命题作文：什么是幸福

　　What Is Happiness?

　　In my opinion, happiness is to have a harmonious relationship with people in our lives.

　　There are three reasons for my view. First, it is the people in our lives who bring us the most happiness. Family, friends and co-workers, who are part of our inner circle, can share our experiences, hopes and dreams, successes and frustrations, joys and pains. Second, selfishness is a major block to happiness. To live life only for ourselves will bring us nothing but sadness and misery. Thus, the unconditional love we have for the people in our lives and their unconditional love for us is the essence of happiness.

　　In a word, I truly believe that the happiest people are those who get along well with others and love many things, keep a good mood in their lives. They have their own way to enjoy and appreciate the world. They love their children, family and friends. They love both sunrises and sunsets. The most important is that they know how to share all of these with others. (173 words)
